Little Cloud Nook: Retro Vintage Nursery with Yellow Shelves

This nursery brings retro vintage charm to a baby’s first room, with a palette of soft wood, cream, butter yellow and moss green. A natural wood crib with built-in drawers sits against a gently scalloped wall, creating a cloud-like backdrop that feels soft and protective. Above the room, a cascading chandelier of glass bubble globes hangs like a cluster of floating light, flanked by leaf-shaped pendant lamps that add a playful, botanical touch. A tall tower of stacked yellow oval shelves turns storage into sculpture, displaying wooden toys at a child’s eye level as they grow. A free-form rug in cream, yellow and green defines the play area, while a changing station with a velvet pad and a toy bag shaped like a little house keep daily routines organized. A cozy bouclé armchair with a moss green cushion sits in the corner for late-night feeds and bedtime stories. Sheer curtains soften the daylight, completing a nursery that is calm, practical and full of charm.
