Golden Arch & Green Glass: Retro Vintage Majlis Design

This majlis gives retro vintage style a warm, welcoming and distinctly hospitable feel. Two seating groups face each other across a wood-floored central path: a curved mustard velvet sofa with a patterned armchair on one side, and a soft cream sofa with a green paisley back on the other. Each group has its own coffee table, one in wood with sculpted marble legs, the other in tinted green glass, and free-form cream rugs with bold brushstroke lines add movement underfoot. The room’s focal point is a golden arched niche framed by curved walnut shelving, where a figurative painting glows under a picture light. A veined marble door frame opens onto the corridor, while a large soft abstract canvas, textured wall covering and floor-to-ceiling curtains with a herringbone border keep the palette calm and refined. Warm, layered and made for conversation, it’s a majlis designed for welcoming guests in style.
