Before: The Challenge
Before finalizing the Nayla project, several challenges were identified. The initial layout lacked structure, leading to inefficiencies in space utilization and creating confusion in decision-making. Budget constraints posed another hurdle, as maintaining a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality required careful planning. Additionally, compliance with SAMA regulations and adherence to office safety standards were critical considerations to ensure a secure and legally sound workspace.
Inefficient Layout
The original space lacked proper structure and flow, resulting in wasted space and reduced productivity.
Budget Constraints
Balancing high-quality design with cost-effectiveness required innovative solutions and careful planning.
Regulatory Compliance
Meeting SAMA regulations and office safety standards was essential for a fintech company operating in Saudi Arabia.
Design Journey
Revie crafted a retro-industrial workspace that seamlessly integrated Nayla's signature primary and orange color palette. The office was tailored for fintech innovation, featuring bespoke workstations and collaborative zones designed to enhance productivity. A blend of exposed ceilings, metal accents, and statement lighting added character to the space, while SAMA regulatory-compliant security infrastructure ensured a secure and controlled work environment. To overcome initial design challenges, the layout was carefully refined to include two executive offices, two side private offices, eight workstations, a reception, a kitchenette, a female restroom, and an outdoor area. The mood and aesthetic were meticulously developed through color stories, sketches, and 3D visuals to align with the project's vision. Additionally, value engineering played a key role in material selection, opting for an alternative to wood for cladding, balancing cost efficiency with design integrity.
